Cultivating Welcome through Prayer

Thank you for joining us for a month of prayer. We are launching this resource to our community in the weeks ahead of (yet another) contentious election day in the United States, and our prayer is that these words will center our hearts on Christ and his kingdom when so many voices around us are pushing us toward fear or outrage. Our hope is that these words will steady you and give you words to pray not just during this election season, but during any season when words fall short and you need support in crying out at the injustice and weight of the world. We are with you.

Please feel free to use this guide in whatever way works for you—you can read through this one day at a time for a month, or you can skip around and choose whatever words feel right at any given moment. May all of our hearts be shaped through our prayers, that we would learn to welcome like Jesus.
